Ian Smith Pioneered his pharmaceutical marketing company Smith’s Distributors after working as a Sales Representative for 6 years himself winning Sales Representative of the year in 1996 for Janssen-Cilag and later in 1999 Export Representative of the year for 3M Pharmaceuticals. Ian founded Smiths Distributors in 1999 upon his return to Namibia.

Since 2001, Danica has gained experience in the Financial Sector of which four years (2004-2008) as Accounts Payable Officer for E.ON Ruhrgas UK Pty Ltd based in Westminister, London.

Kathy is responsible for all office related matters, distribution of marketing material to the sales representatives and all ad-hoc related duties to the daily management of our offices.
Financial Manager
Eleanor has 13 years experience working for the Medical Aid industry dealing with member and service provider claims. She has a vast knowledge of administration and finance duties within the medical industry and joined Smiths Distributors in August 2022.

Naudé Alberts joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2013, commencing his career in representation of Vital Health Foods. In 2014, he joined Cipla Medpro South Africa, representing their entire OTC and SEP Portfolio. Naudé has a vast accumulated knowledgeability of Pharmaceuticals and Market Overview with his 10 years of industry experience.
We have over 2 decades of experience in the Namibian Market, since 1999 with a proven track record and agencies such as Inova, Astellas, Cipla and Mirren whom have been with Smiths since the company was founded in 1999.
